I am a practicing Artist with over 35 years of Art making experience, passionate about the work and often prolific. My love of working with diverse and rich visual imagery, often translates into paintings with symbolism; sometimes overt, at other times layered within the painting. Life itself is the rich source for the work; Nature, travel , dreams and inner musings, people, relationships, life...all inspiration. There is so much going on in the world today, not all good....but I aspire in my work to bring positivity and hope; with the aim to elevate life within my paintings. Some of my recent works are multi layered and akin to life, evolving over time, not fixed, with ambiguities, colour shifts, meaning changes, leaving room for you, the viewer to decide for yourself. To balance that out, I have re-introduced working ...a little more minimalistically ! I also welcome your ideas & commissions which enable me to work with you, to bring your visions to life. On occasion , I have added something personal of yours into one of my paintings adding another 'layer'.
